Contracted with SynerMed, Inc. since 2006, EHS Medical
Group is a medical professional corporation and
integrated health care delivery system. Focused almost
exclusively on government programs (Medi-Cal, Healthy
Families, Healthy Kids and Medicare), EHS membership has
upwards of 85,000 lives, and includes significant
relationships with several Taft-Hartley/ERISA trust
funds. Founded in 1985, EHS owns and operates physician
networks in Los Angeles, Riverside, Sacramento, San
Bernardino, San Diego and Atlanta, Georgia.
EHS has partnered with Care1st Health Plan to offer the
exclusive Platinum Plan – a “dividend” plan that allows
brokers to grow their senior enrollment by offering
significant benefits to Medicare beneficiaries. In the
program, the plan pays for a significant portion of Part
B premiums, which results in a cost savings for members.
Through the company’s unique relationship with SynerMed,
California’s largest government programs managed
services organization (MSO) and the national leader in
health care business process outsourcing (BPO), EHS
boasts the most comprehensive health care services
portfolio and the most robust and innovative R&D
capabilities in the market today. This partnership
allows EHS to provide customers with both unmatched
clinical support and state-of-the-art technology
including Internet-based transactions, sophisticated
claims scrubbers, authorization automation, health plan
report automation, electronic claims submission and
HIPAA compliance. Together, EHS and SynerMed are at the
forefront of innovation in the rapidly changing health
care environment.
EHS members have access to all of the products and
services that SynerMed has to offer, including:
