Smoking Cessation
There are many health risks from smoking. If you are over 18 and are ready to quit smoking, help is available. Call the Arizona Smokers Helpline through Arizona Department of Health Services (ADHS) at 1-800-556-6222 to enroll. A "Coach" will be assigned to you and provide you with education and support through weekly telephone calls throughout the quit process. If you need help from a tobacco cessation product such as a Nicotine Patch or Nicotine Gum, contact your PCP for a prescription.
For more information on quitting smoking visit the Tobacco Free Arizona website.
