
What is KidsCare?
KidsCare is Arizona's health insurance for children under the age of 19. Health
services are granted for children that meet income levels and the program qualifications.
Who Qualifies?
A child age 18 or younger who is:
• A resident of Arizona
• Either a U.S. citizen or a qualified eligible immigrant, regardless of
the status of the parents.
• Not covered by any other health insurance
• A member of a family that meets the KidsCare income levels.
What is covered?
KidsCare may cover the following medically necessary services:
• Doctor's office visits
• Specialist care, if necessary
• Hospital services
• Pregnancy care
• Prescriptions and medical supplies
• Laboratory and X-ray services
• 24-hour emergency medical care
• Family planning services
• Complete physical exams
• Shots
• Dental Services
• Eye exams and glasses
• Hearing tests and hearing aids
• Emergency and Non-emergency medical transportation
Enrollment
Care 1st Health Plan Arizona, Inc. does not enroll you into our plan. You must first
apply for Health coverage through your local DES office, AHCCCS Administration,
