Care1st is the Third Party Administrator
for the AIM program beginning in 2002. Over 98,000 women and infants,
in 58 counties throughout the State of California, have enrolled
in the AIM Program to-date.
The AIM Program is a comprehensive
health insurance plan subsidized by the State of California for
uninsured pregnant women throughout the State. The program is designed
to enable middle income women to obtain maternal and child health
care services at affordable rates. A member who may not qualify
for no cost Medi-Cal may qualify for this program.
Eligibility Guidelines
The program is targeted to serve pregnant women with incomes between
200 and 300 percent of the federal poverty level. Eligibility for
the AIM Program is as follows:

at the time of application |

Does not have insurance coverage for pregnancy
